Townhall Meeting Outlines Plan to Fight the Flying Fish
With so much at stake, most agree the time to act is now. That was the message heard Wednesday during a townhall meeting on asian carp.
Congressman Dave Camp and State Attorney General Mike Cox hosted the townhall meeting to ensure people understand the urgency of the situation.
“It’s a threat to our ecology and it’s a threat to our economy,” says Cox, who started out by outlining the current steps the state is taking to stop the spread of the invasive fish.
